Alright, here’s the second edition of REFRAME! Thanks to everyone who submitted files for editing. I chose these two at random for this instalment, but there were so many images I would have loved to feature!
Just in case this is your first REFRAME session, here’s how it works. I have edited two of our community members’ images (the originals are shown above). In this series, I intend to demonstrate the importance of editing as a crucial step in the creative process, and how one’s approach should have the same intent as your work in the field.
Remember: my aim isn’t to suggest I might do something better, only differently. This can be a way to take an image in a different direction than the photographer intended, which might open the photographer's mind to possibilities they may have not considered before.
